Daryl Hannah stars in the 1986 film about nomadic stone age tribes. This film was a hit at the time and made a splash after the release of the popular novel by Jean M. Auel.

This film is based upon the novels by Jean M. Auel written in 1980. I have never read this book, but it looks interesting. I have always been interested in prehistoric interactions and wondered how Neanderthals would react to humanity's ancestors.

I would recommend this film to fans of science fiction. When it came out there were many such films, and the cinematography is definitely 1980s.

This film showcases the inhumanity of humanity. Hannah plays Ayla, who is a CroMagnum human taken by Neanderthals. Her intelligence causes the Neanderthals to abuse her and exile her. She suffers for her differences.

I recommend this film, and it should be widely available for viewing on streaming services.
