The Artful Cat: Some Tuesday Imaginings!

Found a spare half-hour this morning, so we played around with a few images.

The thing about turning regular photos into something that resembles a painting is that you have to be pretty discerning about what you start with.

You've heard of "Blue Dog?" This is Blue Cat!

Original images that lack sharpness and a fairly high level of contrast have a way of turning into little more than ugly smudges with a vague resemblance to a cat.

We're not going to waste time and space posting anything that doesn't actually come across as visually interesting.

Autumn Mood.

Trying to create something that reflected the spirit of autumn, with its many shades of yellow, orange and red... but it turned out to ne quite difficult to get adequate color gradation.

The above was decent although a little more brown than we'd originally hoped for... but we ran out of time to continue tweaking it.

These are not AI generated, but made by a human using filters and brushes in a photo manipulation program

Of course, part of the purpose for our "Artful Cat" series is also to boost/support the Caturday Community on Blurt, in hopes of encouraging others on Blurt to follow suit!

The more cat content we have here, the better!
