Today is Caturday!

"Saturday is Caturday" is a 20-year old web tradition that originally started on the giant 4chan image boards as a joke, but quickly developed into a worldwide phenomenon.

Today, millions of people share cat pictures and cat videos all around the world, every Saturday. Caturday has also given rise to many cat celebrities, from the original "Can has Cheezburger" cat to the late "Grumpy Cat," to Japanese cat superstar Maru above , known for his interactions with boxes.

Something about cats catch people's imagination... and many spend daily time looking at cat-related content.
