Greetings all, I'm a huge fan of Hindi Telugu and Tamil cinema and have been for years. I've watched perhaps now in the low hundreds action, dramas, comedies and romances and I can tell you personally that the acting, writing, special effects, cinematography, story-lines and direction are superlative. I've seen films that are so thrilling, authentic, captivating and emotional that it surpasses anything coming from Hollywood. I can say that from the lived experience of watching thousands of films classic, foreign, animated and independent in my lifetime so far. I also studied film writing and direction so I'm viewing them with a studious as well as critical eye.

With that said, I want to introduce you to an enduring favourite of mine called, Bharat Ane Nenu aka Bharath Ennum Naan I, Bharat that you can watch for free on YouTube complete with English subtitles here: With now over 30 million views, this brilliant film stars Mahesh Babu who most certainly and indelibly earns his title as "Superstar Mahesh" with his compelling presence and top-shelf acting acumen. The film concerns a young man who reluctantly enters politics when his father who was Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh suddenly dies from what appears to be a stroke. Once he's sworn in he begins making sweeping changes in benefit of the poor, marginalised public and utterly refuses to be a corrupt puppet. When he persists and gains the love and support of the people, his adversaries stop at nothing to try and take him down and out of power.

I love this movie because of how inspirational it is as you watch it and it compels you to cheer on the heroic protagonist. The story is engaging and captivating as this every man literally works to serve the people against all odds. I think they may have used "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" as a Hollywood classic influence but this film takes it much more farther leaving the viewer satisfied, uplifted and thinking of it well afterwards.
