Today is a sad day for Christianity, as Pope Francis has passed away, and now, at least, the film Conclave seems to have been somewhat prophetic.

The movie, released in 2024, revolves around the Conclave convened after the Pope's death, where intrigues and mysteries begin to emerge. Different factions have their candidates and must secure the necessary votes for their currents to win the Papacy.

Nevertheless, the official overseeing the Conclave seeks to uncover an elusive and troubling truth when an unexpected new Cardinal enters the scene.

For those who have not seen the film, it is an excellent work that offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes process of electing a Pope, featuring outstanding performances and a gripping story.

Hoy es un día triste para la Cristiandad porque ha muerto el Papa Francisco, y al menos ahora, la película Cónclave , parece haber sido premonitoria.

La cinta estrenada en 2024, gira en torno al Cónclave convocado tras la muerte del Papa, y las intrigas y misterios empiezan a surgir, los bandos tienen sus candidatos y deben obtener los votos necesarios para que sus corrientes ganen el Papado.

Aún así, el responsable del Cónclave intenta llegar a una verdad esquiva y preocupante, cuando aparece un inesperado nuevo Cardenal en escena.

Para quienes no hayan visto la película, es una excelente obra, que nos acerca un poco a los entretelones que hay detrás de la elección de cada Papa, además de contar con excelentes actuaciones y una historia atrapante.
