Healthy Protein Desert
Today I tried making something new, actually it's very simple and easy and at the same time healthy option for a conventional sugar based desert. Me and hubby both as such are very fond of sweets, but we suppress our cravings for health reasons. Once in a while I am in a mood to try out something new so today has been that day. I was constantly coming through these Insta reels about protein rich deserts with different options. So thought of trying one of them. Last week also I had tried but that did not come out very good in taste. Today one has been perfect to our taste.
What I made is a Chocolate Mousse. Last week the base of the mousse was egg, and it did not taste very good, it was tasting too much eggy and did not feel like eating. This week I tried with Bananas and it came out well.
Ingredients used 2 Bananas Greek Yoghurt 1 cup Honey - 1 spoon optional 85% dark chocolate Cocoa powder 1 spoon Nuts Blue Berries
All of them I mixed and blended it and I kept adjusting the taste until I felt it was perfect. Like first I had not added berries and cocoa powder, and it was too sweet and more of banana taste, so I added it and then the flavor was balanced, the berries mellowed down the taste of the bananas and the cocoa powder reduced the sweetness.
I cannot wait for hubby to get home from work in evening and taste it. Last week he ate what I had made without complaining, but I could make out he did not enjoy it. Hopefully today he will like it.
I garnished it with some nuts on top

This was about last week made with eggs, this time I missed taking pictures of the process and only got the final result.
This is after all the blending
After pouring it in the glass now it needs 3 to 4 hours of refrigeration to set.
All the ingredients used are healthy, no artificial sugar, and it's protein rich. We will be having it after dinner so no hurry for now.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
