“Prone To Wander!”☺️ Just like this Local herd of “Roosevelt elk”, Silvertop is Prone to Wander the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!😊 With hundreds of miles of hiking trails right outside my front door, my hikes never get boring!😇 See the third photo, this is Silvertop’s road, and uphill is where I trek daily into the Cascade Mountains! Years ago this was a dirt logging road. After they cleared all the valuable timber, five acre homesites went up for sale. “ Howdy, neighbor”…….. that was how Liz and Silvertop were first greeted by Barb, our next door neighbor, twenty six years ago!🤗 Where did the time go my friends?😇 Barb has since moved to the Eastern side of the Mountains, to be close to family. She is still missed by Liz and I, and the rest of the neighborhood!😍 I need to remind myself, that once this street looked just like the photos of the recent logging clear cut in this post!…
