Trying a New Hobby Every Day for a Week

The first day I tried painting. I had no experience drawing at all but as the brush moved across the canvas with colors I felt a new creativity and peace.

I made mistakes but that was part of the learning.

The next day I tried a new cooking recipe.

On the third day I tried photography. I captured scenes around the house using my mobile.

Understanding the difference between light and angle was very interesting. I feel I should continue this hobby.

On the fourth day I did gardening.

On the fifth day I tried writing.

I tried writing a short story which seemed difficult at first but as the words started flowing I felt a different kind of satisfaction.

On the sixth day I tried playing a musical instrument the harmonium.

At first the sound wasn't quite right but gradually I understood how to match the notes.

On the seventh day I made exercise a hobby.

I tried a new yoga routine which was a bit tough at first but in the end I got a sense of relaxation and fresh energy.

On the twenty fifth day I explored calligraphy further practicing Arabic style writing.

Every curve and every dot had a unique comfort and my patience also built.

On the twenty fifth day I watched pottery videos and tried to make a cup out of clay. The shape wasn't perfect but the process was so therapeutic that I lost track of time.

It was difficult to figure out the oven timing but when the cookies came out they were delicious, both in aroma and taste.

On Day 54 I tried mixed media art with painting. I created a collage using newspaper and acrylic paints which resulted in a unique design.

On Day 55 I took up jogging as a hobby. I jogged for 20 minutes in the park in the morning. I was tired but my energy remained high throughout the day.

On day seventy seven I tried to learn embroidery. I made a small design with a needle and thread which was a little uneven but felt creative.

On day eighty eight I made smoothie bowls. I decorated them with fruits and dried fruits which were both healthy and beautiful to look at.

On day ninety seven I opened the puzzle box and started learning to solve a Rubik's Cube.
