I've been on these chains for almost 10 years now and I know Hive isn't malfunctioning. It's behaving exactly as its incentives predict it should be.

It's a plutocracy. A DPOS Dicktatorial Piece Of Shit assigning influence according to wealth. Concentrations of wealth naturally produce concentrations of influence. I'm not sure why everyone here spent the better part of a decade pretending otherwise. It's not particularly surprising at all.

What I continue to find interesting isn't the outcomes themselves, but the conversations surrounding them. No matter where they begin, they almost always seem to arrive at the same destination. Someone, somewhere, should be behaving differently.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain why I should be surprised that a plutocracy continues behaving like a plutocracy.
